We can also guide you round the small but historic Ithaca Island, generally thought to be the home and kingdom of Odysseus as described in Homer's epic poem The Odyssey. Rich in culture, we'll take in the capital of Vathi, some of the finest Greek cuisine the islands have to offer and of course, some relaxing time in the turquoise waters of Ithaca's finest coastline.
Ithaca, also commonly known as Ithaka, is a beautifully unspoilt Greek island with a population of little more than 3000 inhabitants. Located off the North East coast of Kefalonia, we’ll travel up the coast (look out for the dolphins!), stopping off at picturesque Vathi and then stunning Kioni for food and refreshments; maybe even a little shopping too!
Don’t worry though – if all that retail therapy has got you hot and bothered, on the way back home there will time to cool off with a swim and snorkel at Filiatra beach; maybe the Captain can even introduce you to some of the local sea-life?! Either way, the whole family is sure to have an unforgettable day trip to this incredible location.
